Biolox® Delta Ceramic Femoral Heads

Biolox^® delta Ceramic Femoral Heads feature a unique oxide blend that allows for use with multiple Biomet hip products, including E1 Antioxidant Infused Technology, M2a-Magnum Metal on Metal Articulation, Regenerex Ringloc^® + Modular Acetabular System and the Taperloc Hip System.

Low Wear

• Composed of aluminum oxide (approximately 75%), zirconium oxide, chromium oxide and other oxides¹
• 47% decrease in wear from 38mm CoCr heads on E1²
• 56% decrease in wear on ArComXL^® polyethylene when compared with cobalt-chrome ArComXL^® polyethylene²

Intraoperative Flexibility

• Can be used with all Biomet^® Type I Taper hip stems
• Four neck length options

Stability

• Possible ROM of up to 137 degrees
• 36 & 38mm head diameters provide for decreased risk of dislocation
